The 2019 Londonderry Lancers are the Division 1 state champions! Lead by a tough mental approach that never gives up, strong pitching and solid defense- the team came through when it mattered most!
Nolan Lincoln had one of the most dominating post-seasons since Tommy Corey in 2014! He beat #1 Concord in the semis by giving up one run, and shut out #6 Bedford in the finals. The 1-0 score was only the second time in the history of the NHIAA with that score in a final game! Nolan kept Bedford off-balance, they had no clue what was coming and couldn’t adjust when it did come.
Zack Luongo turned in a dominant defensive performance in the outfield that saved numerous runs out there! On offense, the Lancers ran into the top arm they have seen in the post-season in Trevor Anibal! He matched Nolan pitch for pitch, but it was the difference of one hit that decided this on the offensive side. Nick Cote reached on a 2 out single, stole second easily. Sean Cavanaugh worked the count and was able to get a single to RF as Cote took off to steal 3rd! The rbi single was the difference!
The coaches are proud of this team. They worked hard, had their ups and downs, and didn’t give up. It was a pleasure to coach this team and we wish the seniors a successful life!

Nolan Lincoln had a bit of a rough first inning. But the Lancer Ace locked in and was HUGE in the semi-final win vs #1 seed Concord. Nolan threw all of his pitches for strikes and was able to spot his ball where he wanted. The Lancer defense made most of the plays and gained confidence as the game unfolded.
At the plate, Brandon Fish lead the way with 2 hits and 2 rbi! Reece Manor and Owen MacDonnell also contributed 2 hits apiece! It was a strong performance overall!
Time to go for the championship vs #6 Bedford on Monday night at 7pm. Your Lancers will be in home white uniforms on the first base side! Come support us….

Reece Manor held a strong Pinkerton offense to one run in his complete game victory in the Quarter finals! He was mixing well and generally hitting his spots all day long. His defense played flawlessly and you could see him gain more confidence as the game wore on!
At the plate Brandon Fish (2-3, triple, rbi), Zack Rheault (2-3), and Jack Dingman (2-3, 1 rbi) paced the Lancers today. With the score tied 1-1 in the fifth Dingman’s head’s-up baseball directly lead to the go ahead run ! He took second on a pass ball, third on an overthrow, and home on a second overthrow! Very well done!
The boys are back at it on Tuesday night vs #1 seed Concord at 7 pm. Let’s go!!!!!
