News and Announcements

The promising second half of the season evaporated in the first round of the playoffs as #11 Keene upset the #6 Lancers in a 10-5 baseball game. Londonderry fought most of the game, attempting to overcome 6 errors, missed signs, and poor decisions all day. The game got away in the 6th when the normally strong bullpen gave up 4 quick runs.
It was an unexpected day at the park, but in the end the team just tightened up too much.
The offense was able to get the lead down to 1 a couple times, but couldn’t hold it in the top half of the inning. Ricky Perry scored 2 runs and drove in a run. Anthony Ferraro also scored a run and drove a run in, while playing stellar defense and shutting out Keene for the last two innings on the hill.
There is work to be done in the offseason, and we encourage all remaining in the program to work on their craft. This was a great group of seniors and we wish them well.

The Lancers finished the regular season with a 12-8 record. Reece Manor got the start and went 5 strong giving up 2 earned runs while striking out 4. Dakota Johnson came in to keep the bullpen streak alive with 15 straight innings of no run baseball!
At the plate the Lancers put up 13 hits on the day lead by 3 players with 3 hits each. Nate Sullivan (3-4, 3 runs, 2b, 3b, 1 stolen base), Reece Manor (3-4, 1 run, 2 rbi), and Anthony Ferraro (3-4, 1 run, 2 rbi). Andy Ross also drove in 2 runs today!
Overall it was a great team win, and something to keep building on.
With the win the Lancers secured the #6 seed in the upcoming tournament. It LOOKS like we will be playing vs #11 Keene at home on Thursday. Come out and support the boys!!

It was Senior Recognition Day for the Lancers today. We have 12 young men playing their last season in high school and are very proud of them. It is fitting that the win today was due in large part to the seniors taking charge and dominating.
Anthony Pirolli had a no-hitter going into the 7th inning. He had his pitches working and controlling both sides of the plate all day. With 1 out a Memorial batter fisted a bloop single into shallow center field to break up the bid. Pirolli didn’t miss a beat as he proceeded to secure the last two outs. It was a masterful performance and his 3rd straight “Rolli” start!
At the plate Dakota Johnson had the hit to break it open with a 2 run single in the 6th! Nate Sullivan had 2 hits, as did Jake Bolduc. Offensively it was a team effort and one the boys continue to build on!
Come support us at Holman Stadium this Friday as we try to secure a 12-8 record for the year!

Nate Sullivan got the start on the mound and improved his record to 3-0 on the year. He went 6 innings strong, walking 1, striking out 4 and allowing 6 hits. He has strengthened our pitching staff to the point where roles are clearly defined now as we head down the final stretch into the playoffs. Travis Peabody continued the bullpen’s dominance as he stretched the scoreless streak to 14 innings!
At the plate the Lancers were lead by Brandon Fish (3-3, single, double, triple and 2 rbi) and Anthony Ferraro (2-4, 2 rbi), The Lancers pounded out 5 doubles today- Sullivan, Perry, McNamara, Bolduc, Fish! The boys are playing well over their past 8 games, let’s keep it going!

Please join us this Wednesday for Senior Recognition Night at Lancer Park vs Memorial at 4 pm!

Reece Manor has turned in his second consecutive complete-game effort to lead Londonderry to a solid 5-2 win vs Dover. Reece wasn’t as sharp as he normally is, but as a testament to his ability, he was able to keep a good D1 offense at bay with the effort. Manor gave up 5 hits, struck out 5 and walked 1 on the day. He was helped by some stellar defensive plays by left fielder Andy Ross and second baseman Brandon Fish!
Offensively you can see the confidence grow with the team. They jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first and never looked back. Pacing the offense was Nate Sullivan (2-4, 1 run, 1 rbi), Rick Perry (2-4, 1 run), Shane McNamara (2-4, 2 rbi), and Jake Bolduc (2-3, 1 run, 2 stolen bases). Things are trending in the right direction, let’s keep it going for Keene!
